St Mary's will Safely Re-Open Soon

St Mary's will Safely Re-open, accreddited Good to Go by Visit Scotland.

At each stage of our reopening (see below) we will take every care to keep you safe when you visit the Monastery. As well as putting in place all the relevant protocols from both civil and ecclesiastical authorities, mitigating the risk from Covid-19 will also depend on everyone taking personal responsibility for adhering to them.

As we approach the lifting of lockdown, the community at Kinnoull looks forward to welcoming back former guests, retreatants, course participants and those who have enjoyed rest and peace here.

We have been cautious in anticipating the reopening of our retreat house as we are totally dependent on government decisions here in Scotland. We are also aware that in these Covid days, advice and regulations can change quickly.

However we are now actively preparing to reopen our Centre as soon as further clarification is given. We anticipate that we will be able to take individual guests (or couples) from mid June and hope that group activities will resume in early July. Please watch this space and also our Facebook page.

We are aware of the toll that the pandemic has taken on so many individuals, families and groups. Our own communities in the UK and throughout the world have been no exception; and we here in Kinnoull have really missed welcoming guests and interacting with them, as well as observing the joy they experience on entering into a place of peace and harmony. We have continued to remember you all in our prayers each day, and have lit candles for you and your loved ones.

Haste ye back.
