Sabbaticals

These prayerful and relaxing courses are designed for those looking for a course with a focus on personal renewal through prayer and reflection. One of the course highlights is a pilgrimage to St. Columba’s Island of Iona.

2024's Summer Sabbatical takes place from 13th May-27th June (7 weeks) - with an optional Pilgrimage to Iona (31st  May - 2nd June). Cost - £4990 (+ £560 optional pilgrimage.)

2024's Autumn Sabbatical takes place from 14th-28th October (7 weeks) - with an optional Pilgrimage to Iona (1st-3rd November). Cost - £4990 (+ £560 optional pilgrimage.)

It is not possible for weekly participants to book for Week I and Week VII of the Sabbatical Course but other individual weeks may be booked.

Week 4 - ‘Go, rebuild my Church': Pope Francis vision.  (Fr Paul Rout O.F.M)

Iona Pilgrimage - The Celtic Spirituality Pilgrimage to St. Columba's Island of Iona. 9th - 11th June

(Thursday – Monday) The stay starts with a meeting at Kinnoull (17.00hrs) on the Thursday evening and finishes after breakfast on Monday.

The coach with the pilgrims leaves the Monastery on Friday morning  and gets back on the following Sunday evening. Pilgrims stay at Kinnoull on the Sunday night.
